The Country Land Owners Association (CLA) Game Fair is the largest of its kind in the world, each year attracting over one thousand trade exhibitors and commercial businesses.

Project Brief

The location of the fair changes each year between three prestigious venues in the heart of England, attracting tens of thousands of visitors. The CLA contracted Danco marquee hire to provide high quality, flexible trading tents for a large proportion of the companies exhibiting at the show. The tents provided needed to be able to withstand variable weather conditions in the rural locations, and the project needed to be carefully managed to respond to changes right up to the opening day of the fair.

We were also asked to provide a comfortably furnished hospitality area for many members of the association for business, networking, family entertaining and dining.

Solution

After working with the site manager and show organiser throughout the winter and spring period to maximize the layout and usage of the showground, we provided over four thousand eight hundred square metres of trade stand tents to accommodate the vast array of businesses and associations that exhibit at the show.

The Members Complex was designed using a variety of tents to house the different requirements of the client. A bespoke members restaurant, private bar and large hospitality tent were constructed within the showground, with a fully fitted central kitchen tent positioned to service the catering requirements of the Members.

As part of the service offered to the client, a team of our experienced site staff remained on site throughout the event, attending to the needs of the traders and making adjustments and additions to the structures as necessary. This allowed the show organisers the confidence to leave all the logistics to Danco marquee hire, and concentrate on hosting one of the highlights of the countryside calendar.
