Marquee Hire Project Brief

The Mall required a venue to host their annual fashion show for Bristol Fashion Week, which attracts nearly 6000 visitors and hosts 17 fashions shows each 45 minutes long over a 5 day period.  The brief for the marquee hire was to provide a venue where guests could be greeted in a reception area and where they could preview some of the fashions on show before moving into the main theatre.  After the show the guests would then leave through side exits of the marquee as the next show's guests to be entertained within the reception area.

Solution

Danco marquee hire provided a single marquee structure split into 3 areas.  This gave the structure a simple uncluttered look from the outside yet allowed the client to move guests through the structure in the way they had requested.  Guests entered into a lavish reception area with tack-off linings where they were served food and welcome drinks, they then entered a stage area complete with black-out linings allowing the lighting to be effective even in the middle of the day and exited the marquee structure from both sides. The third section was the back of house dressing rooms from where the models entered on to the stage and catwalk.

These are fabric linings are an excellent addition to any marquee hire they are installed on a framework inside the structure.  The lining is stretched to give an extremely neat finish and gives the feel of a flat wall rather than the usual pleated marquee lining.
